In this video, we’re going to give you a quick overview of the upgraded client portal and how you can upload documents to your vault to keep them all in the same place. So the first thing that you’re going to do is visit basewealthmanagement.com. In the header bar with the menu, you’re going to choose Clients and then Account Access. From there, you’ll click Client Portal Login, which will take you to the login page here. Enter your credentials that you’ve received in a previous email, or feel free to reach out to info at basewealthmanagement.com if you don’t have yours. Once you log in, you’ll be taken to a page that looks like this, the dashboard. So from here, you can see your overall portfolio growth. On the right, we have links to our financial insights channels such as YouTube and the podcast. There’s a to-do list if you have something to complete from your advisor.
And below you have things like your risk number. If you have a financial plan with the right capital, that will be here as well. And then your portfolio allocation, asset allocation. Next, we can click accounts for a more detailed view. Here you’ll see various graphs, charts, and tables. You can also choose the dates that you’d like to look at by clicking here and selecting one of the options. There’s week to date, last week, month to date, last month, quarter to date, last quarter, last year, rolling 12 months, et cetera. Clicking on these different tabs here can also show additional information. If you would like a more detailed overview of this portal, please reach out to your advisor and schedule an appointment, and they can help you with that. Our focus today will be on the documents tab. Here is where you can store everything that you might need when it comes to your financial picture, whether that be IRS statements, tax returns, mortgage information, real estate.
information etc that can all be housed right here so you don’t have to look for it and your advisor can find it with ease. To upload a document to your vault click the actions button and choose upload files. From there you can drag or select a file from your computer and upload it to the vault and it will appear here where you can access it at any time and your advisor will see it as well. Another important tab is the custodian documents. If you have a fidelity or schwab account each month your statements are synced to your vault. You can come here and view them. Also each year your tax forms are also synced when those are released so that you can submit them to your accountant. That pretty much wraps up this overview. As I said before if you have any questions feel free to reach out to info at basewealthmanagement.com or schedule an appointment with your advisor.
