Base Wealth Management Mobile App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Base Wealth Management (“Base”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Base Wealth Management mobile application and related Services (collectively, the “App”). We are committed to safeguarding personal information and complying with applicable privacy, data-protection, and financial-services regulations.

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, advisory relationship details, and other contact information you or your advisor provide during onboarding.
  • Profile and preferences: Financial goals, track selections, task and checklist interactions, notification settings, and other inputs you choose to share.
  • Usage data: Device identifiers, app interactions, log data, IP address, browser/app version, timestamps, diagnostics, and aggregated analytics to understand how the App is used.
  • Communication records: Messages, tasks, checklist activity, push notifications, and notes exchanged between you and your advisory team through the App.
  • Third-party integrations: When you connect external portals, calendars, or custodial platforms, we may receive limited tokens or metadata necessary to enable the integration. These connections are subject to the third party’s own privacy policies.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App and related advisory workflows;
  • Personalize content, checklists, calculators, and notifications based on your profile and advisor selections;
  • Facilitate secure messaging and document delivery between you and your advisory team;
  • Track activity completion and advisor-client engagement;
  • Monitor for security issues, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • Meet legal, regulatory, audit, and recordkeeping obligations;
  • Respond to inquiries, support requests, and feedback;
  • Communicate important updates about the App, including policy changes.

We may aggregate or de-identify data to analyze usage trends and improve the App. Aggregated or de-identified data does not personally identify you and may be used or shared for analytics, benchmarking, or product development.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as necessary:

  • With your advisory team: Advisors and authorized staff at Base may access your information to deliver services, manage tasks, and comply with advisory obligations.
  • Service providers: Trusted vendors that supply hosting, authentication, analytics, messaging, storage, or support services. They are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
  • Regulatory and legal authorities: When required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, clients, or the integrity of the App.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or other corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations and continued protection of your information.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Submit privacy requests to dan@basewealthmanagement.com or use any self-service tools within the App. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may require identity verification before fulfilling requests.

You can manage notification preferences in the App or through device settings. Some operational messages are required to administer your account and cannot be disabled.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may extend beyond account closure when required by applicable recordkeeping rules for investment advisory firms.

6. Data Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, secure credential storage, limited access controls, logging, and regular reviews of vendor security practices. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we continuously evaluate our controls to mitigate risk.

7. International Data Transfers

If you access the App from outside the country where Base is based, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions whose privacy laws may differ from those in your location. We take appropriate measures to protect personal information during such transfers in accordance with applicable regulations.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may link to or embed Third-Party Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before sharing information or enabling integrations. Your data shared with Third-Party Services is governed by their privacy policies.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Effective date” indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App, by email, or via other appropriate channels. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Regulatory Statement

BASE WEALTH MANAGEMENT is able to offer advisory services in all 50 states. Base Wealth Management renders individualized responses to persons in a particular state only after complying with the applicable SEC and state regulatory requirements, or pursuant to applicable exemptions or exclusions. Different types of investments involve varying degrees of risk including the potential loss of the entire principal invested. There are also no assurances that any portfolio will match or outperform a particular benchmark or index.
