Biography

Dan DiLascia brings more than 22 years of experience to the families and business owners he serves. He began in 1998 as an intern, learning the financial planning business from the ground up, then earned his Finance degree from Siena College in 1999. From day one, Dan built his practice on a fiduciary mindset: put clients first, listen closely, and tailor plans that are practical, tax-aware, and aligned with real-life goals. That commitment remains the foundation of Base Wealth Management, the independent RIA he formed in 2022, with headquarters in Lakewood Ranch.

Today, Dan's focus is simple: expand high-quality, fiduciary financial guidance across Florida without losing the personal touch clients expect. Under his leadership, the firm is growing its footprint and talent in key markets, including Jacksonville, Tampa, Lutz/Land O' Lakes, Sarasota, and St. Petersburg, so more Floridians can access comprehensive planning, retirement strategies, and ongoing wealth management close to home.

Dan also builds client value beyond the advisory relationship. He owns Base Insurance, providing an integrated way to coordinate risk management with financial planning, and he leads Base Commercial Real Estate, which owns and manages commercial properties, experience that helps business-owner clients think strategically about space, cash flow, and growth.

On the planning side, Dan works to simplify complex decisions and structure portfolios for tax-efficient, long-term growth and multigenerational wealth, always with clarity around costs, expectations, and next steps. That client-first approach is reflected throughout Base Wealth Management's service model and public commitment to fiduciary standards.

Dan is the Founder and Principal at Base Wealth Management and meets with clients from the firm's Lakewood Ranch office while continuing to recruit and invest in service expansion across the state.
